F.E.A.R. Demo Review

The demo for one of the most awaited games of the year, F.E.A.R., was released last Friday and I finished the download today via torrent. I could’ve finished it earlier but my connection was behaving erratically. The download is all of 646.67MB. Why are video games blamed?

The recent GTA: SA controversy has made me think, yet again, as to why does everyone go after video games as if they are the source of all evil? I have read and heard umpteen times that games are detrimental to kids and that violence (and sex?) in games spoil young kids. Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Banned in Australia

Source: GameBiz

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, has been banned in Australia because it contains pornographic material.

The Office of Film and Literature Classification said it was forced to revoke the game’s MA15+ classification following revelations users could unlock sexually explicit content by installing a downloadable patch.

Revokation means that the game can no longer be sold or hired in Australia.

My Two Cents:

Is this just the beginning? Will GTA: SA be subjeted to more bans? I certainly think so. Rockstar made a mistake, and then came up with lame excuses to try and prove their innocence. Maybe they should consider sticking to consoles  as the PC platform exposed them ;)
