Yeah, me bitchin’ again. Too much work. Even when I have free time, work is always on my mind and I have been neglecting my blog of late. Not anymore. Next time I get free time, no more UT2004. I’ll instead blog. I need to get cracking on a lot of things such as Google Ads (yeah I need some money) and finally getting to work on those promised blogs about studying in the US. I have some holidays in the coming week so expect some stuff then. For now, back to finishing homework.
Oh yeah it is! 5 courses, 3 of which are physics, not to add two jobs! And being Secretary of the Physics Club doesn’t help either! But at least, the Club stuff is fun to do
Yes, all my plans of starting to write about studying in the US have been put on hold. I had planned on writing 1 blog entry every week but haven’t written any so far! But, I promise I will get to work on that pretty soon and you can expect a blog entry for it next week. New York has been pretty warm over the past 10 days or so. Fall hasn’t quite set in so temperatures often go over 30 degrees celsius. I have been getting plenty of homework but I have been balancing it with UT2004 frag sessions. My roomie has the full version which I borrowed and we play over the LAN. I’m gonna play Burnout 3: Takedown on his Xbox today. So see ya laterz!
Over and out.
Yes I’m back! Got my internet up and running here after some effort. Had to reinstall my LAN card to get rid of all the old settings (read: settings for iGate in Mumbai). And yeah, the speed is really good although I haven’t tested the actual speed.
I hate international travel. I really do hate it. There’s a million things that need to go just right for the trip to be called a good one. If even one screws up, you could end up having a nightmare of a journey. Starting right from your packing to actually reaching where you intend to spend your next few days - there’s so much that could and does go wrong. Let me bore you guys with my trip details. The possible problem areas are in bold ![]()

Yep, it’s a FARCE all right! What with high costs, low speeds, download caps, frequent downtimes, incompetent staff….the list could go on. Even after all these years, India, dubbed an IT super power by some, has pathetic internet infrastructure. The government tried to improve the scene with BSNL and MTNL providing “cheap” broadband. Yea right. Download caps of as low as 400MB mean that unless you use the internet for less than an hour a day, you will end up paying way more than the minimum charges that BSNL hooked you with. Having just ended a 3-month ordeal with iGate, I felt that it was the appropriate time to pen my thoughts on the broadband scene.

Now, using a promo code at www.dreamhost.com you can get awesome hosting for down-to-earth prices!! Even better than what I was thinking of providing. Why did I choose this route? Well, because it is much easier than reselling space. Less hassle for me
