You are definitely entitled to your opinion and if you think that the album is good, then good for you! I was highly disappointed and got the same vibe from my friends who also like LP. I've become a lot more demanding when comes to the music I listen to and this new album is not up to scratch in my opinion.

Dude... this album rox. Can't u see.

The best way to realize how cool the songs are by hearing them in ur ipod (with headphones).

Even i felt the songs r not up to the standards at first, but after going through the album for few times, i think they get better each time u hear.

For those without the album, go and get one... its NOT a waste at all. The songs never get boring. There is always something new in it. Trust me. XD

I was into it with the intro and "Given Up", but it was a rapid downhill run after that.

Is it just me, or did anyone else hear the Bosot Mobile "Chirp" sound throughout "The Little Things Give You Away"?

Overall, this album is a flop. And if history is any indication, it'll be another 4 years before another LP offering, which will only come after they milk this lame CD to death with long tours, remixes/mashups, some bizarre collaboration, and another lengthy writing process.

OR, if the band begins to feel the effects of the disappointed fans with lower concert ticket sales, slumping album sales, etc., MAYBE we can hope that they'll re-enter the studio sooner. Maybe they can pick another dozen songs from the 88 unused songs they wrote for Minutes and release something better.

I too heard the album today, and I pretty much agree to you what you said. Apart from just 2-3 songs, none of the others manage to get your attention. I believe the earlier albums were too good for the third one, another reason for this maybe the big gap between the albums. Its difficult to adapt to such a change maybe for the fans. Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears have all suffered from such long gap released albums. I know BSB and Britney are in a different genre, but Linkin Park too have somehow lost that feel we once had, nevertheless, LP is still my favorite and will be, no matter what. Their earlier albums have been my favorites.
